A Quiet Beginning: How My MBA Shaped the Future of Natural Spa Beauty
There are moments that deserve to be marked slowly.
I recently graduated from my MBA at Durham University. What felt like the end of an academic chapter has, in reality, become a new beginning for Natural Spa Beauty.
The day after graduation, I returned to Durham Cathedral for the midday mass to sit quietly, give thanks to the Lord, and reflect before stepping into what comes next.
That pause was necessary.
Not because something dramatic had changed overnight, but because something within me had shifted.
From Instinct to Intention
When I first began Natural Spa Beauty, it was instinct-led. Rooted in care. Driven by curiosity. A desire to create performance-based products that were nurturing, pleasant, and supportive of wellbeing.
Over time, the brand has grown steadily. Many of you have been part of that journey.
But over the past two years, while studying and building simultaneously, something deeper began to take shape.
Sustainability stopped being a buzzword.
Strategy stopped being abstract.
Growth became something to question rather than chase.
I began asking harder questions.
What does scale look like if it is values-led?
How do we expand without losing integrity?
How do we build experiences, not just products?
Those questions have begun to reshape how I think.
Not a Rebrand. A Refinement.
Natural Spa Beauty is entering a new season.
Not louder.
Not rushed.
But more intentional.
More structured.
More aligned.
This is not a rebrand. It is not a dramatic pivot. It is purposeful change, unfolding in a quiet and methodical way.
You will begin to see a stronger focus on scent as experience. On atmosphere, not just skincare. On building spaces and rituals that support calm and clarity in everyday life. This includes the development of our Signature Scent Strategy.
There is something quietly powerful about building slowly and building well. Choosing integrity over speed. Depth over noise.
That is the direction I am stepping into.
What Comes Next
In the coming weeks, I will be sharing more about:
• Why scent has become central to how I think about wellbeing
• The philosophy behind our diffuser direction
• Transparency around sourcing and certification
• The evolution of our business model
This blog will become part of an ongoing Founder’s Journal series.
